I bought this tarp to fold up and keep in the back of my Subaru because I thought it would be great for dirty things like firewood or garden supplies, a cover for sitting on wet ground, or a makeshift rain cover. I didn’t need the size to be exact so i didn’t measure to see if it was to spec. it would be absolutely perfect except for one major problem. It smells like the ass crack of hell. I should have sent it back immediately. It has been draped over my trash cans for weeks airing out in rain and snow and sun. When I first put it out there the stench was so strong I could smell it when I opened the back door. And while it might not be supernaturally bad anymore, it still stinks. So bad that the stench rubs off on your clothes and skin where it touches you. It is a musty petroleum odor. There’s no way I can put this thing in my car. I think I would be sick if I had to smell it for more than a few minutes. Seriously, it should come with a warning. Caveat emptor.Spent alot for this.. I expect a quality product. I stretched this over my kids sandbox. It's on 4x4 and 2x4 perms. Atop some 4x4 posts. So far after 6 months its still in good shape. I expect it to last 10 years for this price but we will see. If I can't get 10 years out of it I'll go to sheet metal at this cost. But I like the tent canopy apperance... It's like a camp site play area sand box.Material is thick and heavy duty looks to last a long time. But shorter than the size I ordered. But otherwise very satisfied with the quality of material.This tarp really seems to be strong and great quality. I haven't been able to install it where I am planning to use it because I did just receive it. I am very happy with the purchase and the seller has responded to an email that I sent. I have no complaints.Quality is very evident as soon as you open this product. Very good craftsmanship. I wanted a long lasting product, and this will do the job. I ordered a 6’x8’. And I’ll order again perhaps buying larger.Paid extra for accuracy (10 x 10) and one end wasn’t cut straight. Now, after having it up as our canopy, talk about shrinking. It’s probably lost 6-8 inches on the length. Really wanted/needed it to stay a a 10 x 10. Only been up about a week. Disappointed.I knew it was going to short.Great Work.I just wish I would’ve ordered Bigger ?These guys make great Canvases. My second purchase from them.
